Kevin Dean Radovich is a seasoned Criminal Investigator with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, bringing 19 years of distinguished service in law enforcement. He is deeply committed to safeguarding public safety, advancing justice, and maintaining the integrity of the criminal justice system. His career began in 2007 on road patrol, where he managed general patrol duties, traffic enforcement, DWI investigations, and community outreach initiatives. He gained additional experience through seven years with the Town of Kent Police Department, a seasonal part-time role with the Westchester County Police, and an internship with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New York City. Promoted to Criminal Investigator in the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) in May 2021, Kevin has specialized in narcotics enforcement and currently serves as a Hostage Negotiator with the Sheriff’s Response Team (S.R.T.) Hostage Negotiations Team (H.N.T.), applying advanced crisis intervention and communication skills in high-risk situations. He holds advanced certifications as a Drug Recognition Expert (D.R.E.) and D.R.E. Instructor, Field Training Officer, Marine Patrol Officer, and DCJS General Topic Instructor—demonstrating his dedication to specialized training and professional excellence. In August 2024, Kevin was cross-designated as a Task Force Officer (T.F.O.) with Homeland Security Investigations (H.S.I.), assigned to the HSTF-25, ASAC Hudson Valley Newburgh office. In this capacity, he collaborates with federal, state, and local partners on investigations involving national security threats, human trafficking, child exploitation, drug smuggling, cybercrime, and immigration violations. His responsibilities include conducting surveillance, executing search warrants, performing undercover operations, making arrests, seizing criminal assets, and delivering training in support of H.S.I.’s mission and currently on the ICAC team for Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Unit. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2007, with a concentration in Criminal Profiling and a minor in Criminal Justice. To further strengthen his expertise in behavioral analysis, he became a Certified Body Language Expert through the Joe Navarro Body Language Academy in 2021 and earned a Diploma in Body Language (with distinction) from the Centre of Excellence in 2022. These credentials enhance his proficiency in investigative interviewing, nonverbal cue analysis, and behavioral interpretation during criminal investigations.
